History & Mission
The Indiana Street Commissioners Association (ISCA) was formed in the 1930s. Its mission is similar today as it was back in the early days. The ISCA provides a channel for information dissemination, legislative updates, and peer-to-peer networking with other street commissioners and public works directors from across Indiana.
The current membership today is 150 representing 100 cities and towns. The purpose of the Association shall be the advancement of theory and practice of Street Commissions, the dissemination of information and experience upon, and the promotion of improved practices. The encouragement of the adherence by Street Commissioners to have professional standard, and the professional and social improvements of its members.
